7 Green Martinstown and 2 Dorset Climate Action Network members visited Underhill Wood Nature Reserve on the N. Dorset/Wiltshire border at East Knoyle in early August and were shown around the 25 acres reserve by owner Jonathan Thomas. Jonathan has been using Conservation Hedge laying techniques for 7/8 years and we saw how biodiversity and abundance have been significantly improved with this method. We all felt really inspired by the way the land was being cared for and the trip was very informative. There is also a beautiful lake made and devoted to wildlife.
